At Sound Grounds Coffee Shop & Music Cafe (a.k.a. "Sound Grounds LLC" and other DBAs you might know), we believe that great coffee should be enjoyed with a side of fun. By accessing and using our website or mobile app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. While we aim to keep things light-hearted, please note that we take your privacy and security seriously — see our Privacy Policy.

We make no guarantees regarding uninterrupted access or error-free service, and we shall not be held liable for any negative outcomes that may occur as a result of your use of our site or app. However, when it comes to your positive coffee experiences, we’re all in!

Accounts, Ordering & Payment

  • Your account: keep your login credentials to yourself and give us accurate contact information — it's how we tell you your drink is ready. You're responsible for activity on your account.
  • Orders: all orders are subject to menu availability and store hours. Prices and menu items may change without notice. Once we start making your order, it can't be canceled through the app — talk to us in the shop and we'll sort it out.
  • Payment: payment is collected at the time of ordering and processed by Stripe. Applicable promotions, reward redemptions, and gift cards are applied at checkout.
  • Curbside pickup: the vehicle details you provide are used only to bring your order out to the right car.

Rewards, Subscriptions & Events

  • Rewards program: loyalty points and rewards have no cash value, aren't transferable, and can't be redeemed for cash. We may adjust how points are earned, tiers, and available rewards from time to time as the program evolves.
  • Coffee subscriptions: subscriptions renew automatically on your chosen rhythm until you pause or cancel, which you can do anytime from the app or website. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
  • Gift cards: gift cards are redeemable for purchases at Sound Grounds and are not redeemable for cash except where required by law.
  • Event bookings: booking our space for a private event is governed by the Event Booking Agreement and deposit terms presented when you book, which control if they differ from anything here.
  • Sponsored content: the app may show clearly-labeled sponsored banners from local businesses we like. They're our guests — we don't control their websites or offers.

SMS & MMS Notifications

As part of our commitment to keeping you updated about your orders, promotions, and special events, we offer an SMS/MMS Notification Program. Please review the following terms carefully:

  • Company / Brand Names: Our messages are sent by Sound Grounds LLC, doing business as Sound Grounds Cafe.
  • Program Description: Our SMS/MMS Notification Program provides updates on order status, new menu items, exclusive promotions, and other timely alerts.
  • Message Frequency Disclosure: Subscribers can expect to receive one confirmation message per order and occasional promotional messages (up to two per week). Message frequency may vary.
  • Pricing Disclosure: Message and data rates may apply. Please check with your mobile service provider for details.
  • Opt-Out & Help Instructions: To stop receiving messages at any time, reply STOP. For help, reply HELP. These instructions apply to all messaging programs.

By enrolling in our SMS/MMS Notification Program, you consent to receive messages from Sound Grounds LLC. These terms meet the minimum requirements as set forth by our messaging provider.

The Fine Print

We may suspend or close accounts that abuse our services, our staff, or our systems. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
