About HEXDOS 4

HEXDOS 4 is a disk operating system for the Ohio Scientific C1P computer, originally developed by Steven P. Hendrix from 1980-1983. It provides disk I/O capabilities integrated with Microsoft BASIC.

Keyboard

Click in the display area to activate keyboard input. Special keys:

Ctrl+C - Break/Stop
Ctrl+O - Toggle output
Return - Execute/Enter

Getting Started

Click Run to start the emulator. At the D/C/W/M? prompt, press C for cold start or D to boot from disk.

Booting HEXDOS

To boot HEXDOS from disk:

Select "HEXDOS 4 System Disk" from the dropdown
Click Load Disk
Press Reset (or BREAK)
At the D/C/W/M? prompt, press D
